Pastor Calvin “CJ” Reese is the anointed and gifted Senior Pastor and Founder of The Grace Center located in Snellville, GA. He is an exciting, dynamic and bold Pastor that believes in preaching the Word of God despite the opposition and is not afraid to proclaim the truth found in God’s Word.
Pastor Reese is a native of Murfreesboro, NC and he is a proud U.S. Army veteran. While faithfully serving his country, he felt God calling him into the ministry. Upon leaving the military in 1999, it was confirmed that God was calling him to preach the Gospel. Knowing the responsibility and the seriousness of the call, Pastor Reese decided to try things his way instead of accepting the call. As the years passed, Pastor Reese finally decided to accept the call in 2006 and he was licensed to preach on April 26, 2008 and was ordained on September 12, 2009. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. He also has a Master of Arts degree in Apologetics from Luther Rice Seminary.
While working in corporate America, Pastor Reese formed a Bible study on the job where every week individuals came to study the Word of God. During this same time God led him to hold a weekly conference call Bible study where individuals nationwide joined on the call to share the Word. He has also volunteered as a Chaplain at DeKalb County jail where he proclaimed the Word and ministered to the needs of the inmates. Pastor Reese also has a heart for all people especially in the realm of outreach. As a member at his previous church, he oversaw and led the evangelism ministry.
He is the proud husband to Atonya Reese and the humble father to Ashley Reese.
